The 2 Hour Rule to analyze each task type.

Your PTE Journey with Rubbal

Amidst all the chaos and preparation, we sometimes forget that PTE is ultimately just an exam.

Which means if you want to score well, you need to prepare well. Commit to it.

Its Friday today and this week I took 7 demos (i am taking on less demos now because of slot unavailability.)

And in all these demos, I sensed a great urgency or rush in the test takers and i felt like i need to talk to you about this.

Oh! and before i start talking. I would like to welcome the test takers who have recently joined ptemocktest.com.

Who am I & Why I am talking to you?

Well My name is Rubbal & I am the head coach at ptemocktest.com.

I’m here to join your journey, share experiences, and help you clear your PTE Exam.

And i have these three slots available currently.

8:00 AM – 09:00 AM

10:00 AM-11:00 AM

11:00-12:00 PM

So if you want to grab them up. You can schedule a free demo at https://www.ptemocktest.com/online-coaching/ or Whatsapp my team at +91 9815554810

So where was I?

Ah yes! The rush to give the exam. But why the rush?

Shouldn’t you prepare properly and give the exam and clear it in one Go.

I feel sad when I see students going for their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th attempt. In 90% of cases, it’s due to rushing.

I often tell test takers divide your preparation in three stages :

Understand and Analyze Each Task Type

Focus on Task Types that Challenge You Most

Take an official mock test to evaluate your scores.

If you ask me, I strongly believe to start with my TWO HOUR RULE .

Dedicate at least two hours to each task type, and then decide which task type needs more attention.

Section

Hour One

Hour Two

Speaking

Lecture ( Understand the task type, choose a fixed strategy, and stick to it. )

Practice (None of the task types are more than 2 mins so you can practice 20 questions on an average.)

Writing

Lecture ( Understand the task type, choose a fixed strategy, and stick to it. )

Practice ( In case of SWT, you can do 4 questions in an hour and 2 questions of Essay Writing )

Reading

Lecture ( Understand the task type, choose a fixed strategy, and stick to it. )

Practice ( With an average of 2 mins per question, you can do 25 questions easily in an hour. )

Listening

Lecture ( Understand the task type, choose a fixed strategy, and stick to it. )

Practice ( Divide in two parts 30 mins of SST & 30 mins for the remainder of the questions )

Doing so will help you understand which task type needs more attention and practice.

Also stick to one strategy don’t watch too many videos and try to implement too many strategies on a single task type.

One last note : Shout out to Jessie, he is starting classes with me from 17th June 2:00 – 3:00 PM. If you are seeing this Jessie. Welcome . Lets get your score.
